According to a TV Guide article from earlier tonight, a My Chemical Romance track will be featured on the karaoke television series in a new episode later this season. The article linked at the end of this post claims that the infamous Coach Sue will team up with the outcasts of the New Direction glee club to "partake in a dance number set to a My Chemical Romance song." Exactly which MCR track the kids of McKinley would be rocking out to wasn't specified. The news hasn't been officially confirmed yet, but usually unofficial news surrounding this show seems to hold some pretty solid ground. Should we be excited or completely terrified? We shall see for ourselves later this season!

My Buzznet MCR Contest Entry
While on the subject of everything fabulously Killjoy, here is my entry for Buzznet's My Chemical Romance Album Cover Contest. Buzznet asked MCR fans to create an album cover for the new MCR release, Danger Days, by only going off the inspiration from the album title. I shot my friend, Megan, over the last weekend, and with those pictures, and some Photoshop magic, I came up with this final image.
Any support on Buzznet would be great!
I'm back!
Now with a revamped (read: stolen) background image from mychemicalromance.com. The world of MCR has blown up since my last blog. Two singles and a video have made their way onto the internet, and a worldwide tour has been announced.
Its all in support of MCR's fourth studio album, Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys, which is due out on November 22nd. The first two singles released, Na Na Na (Na Na Na Na Na Na Na Na Na) and The Only Hope For Me Is You, are now on iTunes, and as you can imagine, I've blasted them on repeat since their releases.
While we're all waiting for Danger Days' November 22nd release, check out the recently released (and majorly epic) music video for the first single, Na Na Na (Na Na Na Na Na Na Na Na Na).

The Quest For "#thenewshitgoddammit"

In case you don't already know: My Chemical Romance is the shit, and I just so happen to shit every time My Chemical Romance does something. So, you can imagine the boughs of diarrhea I went through when this happened.
This past Friday, if you logged onto MCR's website you would've noticed a startling change to the page's layout. What was once a dainty blog was replaced by this Fallout-esque television. You can change the channels on the TV, all of which play some sort of seemingly nonsensical media. The page is pretty cryptic, offering no clues whatsoever to the reason for the change or what it means.
Now, if you're smart like me (ha!), you would've already guessed this is a hype-builder for MCR's follow-up to their 2006 album, The Black Parade. Some mysterious Twitter accounts also popped up at the same time as the site change. The accounts (@DrDeathDefying, @NewsAGoGo, @AgentCherriCola, and @TommyChowMein) started tweeting weird posts describing a post-apocalyptic world. The accounts were connected to the viral campaign when people began to notice they were being followed by members of the band.
No new clear answers or clues have been given so far, but I will definitely update this post when they pop up.
